Highly specialist speech and language therapist with extensive experience in working with adults with acquired neurological conditions.

If you or a loved one have been diagnosed with a neurological condition, such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, or a brain tumour, it can feel devastating and bewildering. It can be difficult to know where to seek help and support for the symptoms you are experiencing. I not only provide therapeutic treatment for communication and swallowing problems, but also the knowledge and support needed for both you and your family to navigate this chapter of your life.

I am a highly specialist speech and language therapist with over 10 years experience working in services in the NHS. Based at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, I bring expert knowledge in managing complex communication and swallowing difficulties, with extensive experience in stroke, neuro-surgery, and neuro-oncology.

Initial Consultation

Comprehensive assessment of your communication or swallowing needs. I'll take time to understand your concerns, discuss your goals and priorities, and develop a personalised treatment plan together with you.

Therapy Sessions

Evidence-based therapy tailored to your individual needs. Flexible delivery options include home visits in South East London or online sessions across the UK. I'll monitor your progress regularly and adjust our approach as needed, with support and training for family members when appropriate.

You'll receive home practice programs and resources to support your progress between sessions. I communicate closely with other healthcare professionals involved in your care and provide long-term strategies for continued improvement, with follow-up sessions as needed.
